The website of Indian Academy Of Obstetrics & Gynecology was launched on 21st September 2002 by Dr. K. K. Gogoi M.L.A. Of Assam, at Dibrugarh. Prof. B. Sarkar from Siliguri gave thanks to Dr. Gogoi over Telephone for launching  the site and Prof. S. N. R. Patgiri conveyed thanks on behalf of all the stuffs of IAOG. A grand dinner party was hosted by Dr. K. D. Patgiri on behalf of IAOG on that occasion.
